    NA POL Download

    Anyone know where I can DL a NA version of POL? I have an NA account and it's annoying getting people to log onto me to confirm the monthly payments.

    any decent torrent app supports deselecting certain files/folders, so just uncheck everything but the POL CD folder.

    How about downloading straight from PlayOnline?

    That's the "Vista-compatible" POL installer. It's really not just for Vista. It's just a newer PlayOnline Viewer that happens to be compatible with Windows Vista. Works perfectly in XP.

    Sorry for bump, but I wanted to give those in need of FFXI pre-WoTG, the speed of that torrent is decent. More importantly, once I'm done downloading it, I can seed for anyone or send files if anyone needs (just PM me). I would seed on its own, but my computer just nearly dies when I do (to upload at unlimited speeds), so if anyone needs it, contact me and we can take it from there.

    Wait is this the original game + zilart + cop + toau? Because Ill have to download the game again when I get my new computer.

    <sarcasm>Nope, the torrent creator just made up a fake folder structure and added empty files, the torrent contains only POL and a few GB of additional data trash</sarcasm>

    Gah! I finished downloading, and every time I try to install, it stops at 40%! What the hell!

    Same thing happened when I tried the CDs-- I'm talking about the FFXI CD (POL downloaded/installed fine)

    How come it keeps stopping install @ 40%? It just freezes from then! Halp!
