Thread: SGM have more power then they announce.    

Long story short, we get E body and A body to drop off of last nights Nidhogg. Our member that was supposed to get E.body ended up accidentally lotting on the A.body also. instead of passing, He was the last to pass/lot so it instantly went to his pool.

We call GM to see if we can get the Abj. moved to the correct player, only to be denied. We immediately asked for SGM, Only to be suprised with them FIXING our mess up. GM don't always fail! thank you SGM Roticanai! :D

That situation had the makings of some legendary drama, though I'm glad to hear you got sorted out.

It is great to see they are looking into something resembling customer service though.

For as far back as I can remember, S/E's stance on items has always been a total hands-off approach ... but they recently announced the GM item restoration skit, and I wouldn't be surprised if their new-found item tampering skillz spring from that.

Similar event happened to my linkshell where lag caused an accidental lot on M Body. We tried for days to talk GMs and other representatives. I believe even to SGMs but those lying bastards said it couldn't be done. They are such pricks at times.

idk to me that's what it should be about, if you're going to provide a service then provide it 100%.

I would much rather have them say "the policy is completely hands off, I'm sorry there's nothing I can do" then have them fix it for you then deny the next group this happens to any action. lol hell even getting to speak to the SGM was an accomplishment.

I think they would if they could, but it's hard to be explicit about everything. Take harrassment for example. There are so many different ways to harrass people and so much gray area regarding what is and what isn't, that it really just comes down to case-by-case circumstance and intent (i.e. judgement call). Seems to me that people who are most dissatisfied with "vague" prohibition rules are the ones interested in what they can and can't get away with. Just an observation, not implying that you are one of these people at all.

All in all though, the recent changes in GMing are welcome (and long overdue).

just a ps, has anyone heard/seen/know about items lost-regained?

ie; friend got niggajacked, lost dalma/suppa/magnetive/full duelist, GM call and gets'em back cause he got hacked(or fuckstabbed) ? im pretty sure this was listed in the new GM thingy a while back as npokgo
